Pre-Construction Process

Step 1

Design

We begin pre-construction in various stages of the design process:

  • Complete design that is ready for permits.
  • Partial design, but needs help improving functionality, affordability, or municipality approval.
  • Starting from scratch. We have the personnel and experience to design the ideal home for our clients.

Step 2

Price

Every detail of the project is gathered to create an initial cost or allowance that leads us to one of the following steps:

  • If the summarized price falls within a client’s budget, we move forward with finish selections and final pricing.
  • If the summarized price is out of a client’s budget, we work hand in hand with the client and our designer to cost engineer the project into a comfortable price range.

Step 3

Agreement and Permit

With the approval of design and price, we wrap up the pre-construction process with the following items:

  • Lending documents
  • Soil erosion permits
  • Building agreement
  • Construction permits
  • Warranty documents
